Self Publish Childrens Board Book?
Q. I'd like to self-publish a children's book, but instead of a book with regular pages, I want to do the card-board page style (these are the thick pages that little kids can't tear or bend as easily). I've looked at LuLu.com and they don't print this type. Is there any other self publishing company that prints the board page books? Thanks in advance!

What is the best card stock to use for making scrapbook pages?
Q. I am not real familiar with scrapbook terms, so bare with me. I noticed there are different weights of cardstock paper. Which one should I use for the backside of the background paper, so that the page is not flimsy? I purchased some Die Cuts with a View Card Stock from Joann's, but it just does not seem thick enough. Then I thought maybe this is how thick the card stock should be I do not want it to be as stiff as board, because I still have to keep in mind this has be able to fit into a page protector. I have noticed if the pages are too stiff it is a pain in the butt to make them slide into the page protector. Can someone recommend some card stock to me and where to get it?

My Easyjet online boarding pass printed over 2 pages - is this how its supposed to be?

A. That sounds fine - mine consistently get split onto two pages as well at the same point. [I'd guess it has gone onto the second page just after/around a thick black line which is below the two barcodes that are level with each other on the page? So if you look down the right hand side it goes: top barcode, man holding bags, bag with dimensions, 2 barcodes level with each other? Then a thick black line, and the actual bits on the next page begin or end with a row of tildes: ~~~ Anyway that is where mine almost consistently splits, across various browsers, printer/page setups and operating systems. How can I permanently write on a dry erase board?
Q. This is a strange question because there are many pages dedicated to removing permanent marker from dry erase boards. I actually WANT to make a permanent design. Does anyone have any idea what kind of marker/pen will do this? Sharpie, maybe?

A. Sorry Everyone ... but you're all mistaken. You can write on a dry erase board with a "permanent" marker or a Sharpie but when you use a dry erase marker it will remove it from the board. In fact that is exactly how we recommend fixing a board that someone has written on with a permanent marker. We tell them to simply scribble over the permanent marker with a dry erase marker, let it dry for about 15 seconds and erase it. The chemicals, I believe they are called Xylene, in dry erase markers will mix with the permanent marker and it will wipe off the board. "Longboards" are extra long (naturally) and are for cruising, generally with softer wheels to make riding slower but smoother. Girl skateboards is just a brand that is called that simply as a marketing technique, they arent necessarily for women, many male professional skaters are sponsored by them. But they make quality decks, so if your neice wants, they are a good option. Check out www.ccs.com they are a good, reputable online shop. but the best option is to go to a skate shop and tlak to someone.
